The idea of fried fish came to Britain from the Iberian Peninsula, and the Belgians famously invented chips, but it was here in Britain that we put the two together to form the culturally important dish that we now all know and love – Fish and Chips.
Our tasty fish and chips are served just as they should be, in traditional newspaper-print cones or boxes. All our fish is frozen at sea to maintain the freshness, and cooked to perfection – soft and flakey with a crunchy, golden batter.
For a true – yet simple – Great British experience in central London, The Great British Fish and Chips is the place to be. Whether you want to pop in for a quick take-away or rest your feet and sit down, our friendly staff will always welcome you with a smile. Alternatively you may want to try our fried chicken, sausage or even a burger, all served with a generous portion of chips.
We’re located on the Southbank, overlooking the Thames, right opposite the London Eye and next to London Dungeon and the London Aquarium.
